Yea, they definitely don't want me stirring around bad comments about their company, but that is their own fault. But then again, if they fix the issues and do me right, I will let everyone know the same. I just want my car fixed, issue free, and ready to drive. It's been down for almost three years, and I've had it for five. And the other two years it was in the shop for months for the S/C install. It's been nothing but bad luck but I'm hoping things will turn for me and this car now...

And as promised, here are some pics of the brackets that they made. Also some more pics of the wiring and some pics of the trunk. Please excuse the dust....

The coolant tank bracket was $90 and the I/C pump bracket was $140 if I remember correctly.

As for the nitrous system. Well they mounted the bottle on my false floor which is what I wanted, but they didn't reinstall the false floor supports at all. They just stacked all my sound system pieces on top of each other and cracked my false floor. So not only do I have to get a new false floor made, that was not very safe for me to drive around like that. The trunk is literally untouched from when I picked it up from them besides me removing a box and moving some pieces around so you guys could see.

I really feel for you man. Nothing worse than saving your hard earned money to do something nice for yourself only for it to turn into such a hassle. I hope they make everything right and please don't ever go back there again!

Have been reading this thread I can't re-call seeing the shop or shops in question come to their own defense, the silence is kind of deafening. The bill you posted up was just labor and mostly brackets? How long was your car at "modular depot" for a blower install and tune? Was the engine in the car when it got to "Modular Depot"? Cruel and unusual punishment for sure.
From what i understand the tune is still not right and they want to drive it to their shop in Kentucky?

They used to be a sponsor on here but they aren't anymore. Since then they don't post on here...

The supercharger was installed by someone local. That was another mess. It was at a reputable shop at the time but when my car went in is when the shady business began. They had my car for about 5 months to install and tune my saleen and the tune was never perfect on that. That was on the stock block but later repaid someone else to refund it better. I got charged a shitload for all that work too from that guy too but the new tuner was awesome for that setup. The guy doing the install said he installed some parts that he never did. My car wouldn't start for the longest time. Said he switched plugs and charged me for labor and plugs and other work he did but probably never really did. Never got the car running and the tuning guy took out the plugs, low and behold they were fried. Fast forward a year later, my stock block blows after 15k miles of running strong because the coolant lines were installed on top the headers. They got burned through and cause the sc to overheat and my car detonated. So that brought me to my two years of saving to do everything right all over again...

The $8400 includes $1100 worth of fuel system components so its not completely labor but mostly. Still a lot.

Modular depot has a nice tractor trailer that I believe they are going to use to pick up my car. But if that's not what they had in mind it better be arranged LOL

Man I feel for you, I really hope they get you up and running strong, no reason except poor workmanship that you should be having these issues after all this time.

I know. Things need to turn for me with this car. Or I need to open up my own shop and be the first decent shop in the area...

Exactly why I am the only one who works on my stuff.

That is a shit job and needs to be corrected. Lawyer/court is the only thing that will right this ship.

I predict they fuck up the next time.

If you don't have a lawyer in pocket already, get one BEFORE they re-take possession of your car. Detail everything out that will be done and deadlines on when it will be accomplished by. Make them sign stating so. Do not release your car back to them until this is accomplished. If they refuse, court it is and they will be refunding you all your money plus hardship and suffering. Bullshit needs to end.

I'm just fucking speechless...Like others on here, I'm the only one to put a wrench or a wire on my car. I'm one anal prick when it comes to detail.

Yea, I started it on Modded Mustangs. But I looked through Yellow Bullet and looks like someone was asking if someone on the board owned it or worked there before...

Yes they were asking. But they were also talking about your thread. Funny how ken says he didn't own any of it this year.
He back peddled when I called him out. Funny he still has md in his sig on nmra board.
You want people to see it. Put in that thread on the bullet

Yea I thought that was funny too. I was always under the impression he always owned a part of Modular Depot, and that he just went to work for Diablo as a tuner.

I don't have an account on Yellow Bullet. If you don't mind, can you link this thread to it?

I have a feeling I may be getting banned on here, or temporarily banned, so if I don't respond for a while, that's why... LOL

You'll do fine here as long as you don't fight/name call with the staff and don't mess up tech or for sale threads!

I believe when Brad bought MD, Ken only owned a small part of the company and drew a salary as a manager and a small % of the profits.

I've done much stuff with them over the years until recently. Ken and Brandon were my links to the company as they were both my friends. With both gone and Ken in Fl, I have Brandon doing all my work again now.

I would not have a problem with Ken tuning anything of mine either. He always did a great job on my Mustangs.
