Moroso Oil Catch can mounting location

I decided to purchase a Moroso oil catch can from American Muscle for my '06. I have a Roush 2.3 TVS installed on the car. I thought I would have more room on the left side to mount the can. It is not looking promising. I see on AM's website that some folks mount it to the air box. Is anyone here doing that? If so, how is it working for you? There seems to be plenty of room on the right side of the engine compartment. However, mounting the can there would mean I would have to use long lines. Is that an issue? Just how far away can I mount it from the vacuum source?

EDIT: Let me clear that up a little. I am plumbing the can into the driver's side valve cover side of the PCV system. The vacuum port is in the elbow of the sc on the driver's side. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

The length of the lines is not an issue. It's not like you're going to be plumbing it back to the trunk. You'll be good to go.

It would have to be the passenger side tower since there isn't much room on the driver's side. I will also need a different bracket. I will call Moroso and get a price on a new bracket.

The length of the lines is not an issue. It's not like you're going to be plumbing it back to the trunk. You'll be good to go.

I called Moroso and explained my concern. They agree with you. Today I mounted the can on the passenger's side of the engine compartment and on the strut tower. I used the bracket that came with the kit. It required a minor tweak and some black paint. I routed the hoses behind the supercharger. I ended up adding about 4 feet of hose to the 3 feet supplied.
After the install, I checked for vacuum at the valve cover. Based on my calibrated thumb, it seemed just as strong as it was prior to the installation of the can. I will give it a try and post the results when needed.

OK, good point. I have never uploaded a picture to a forum before this. If they don't appear, let me know.
Keep in mind this ain't no show car.
You can see where I mounted the separator and the slight tweak to the supplied bracket. I have not installed the drain hose. I am not sure if I want the drain hose left on the separator or if I want to install it every time I drain it. There is no room on the driver's side to mount the separator. The picture shows that you really can't easily "see" the black lines. At this point, I am not sure if I want to make it look pretty. I might just get some black fittings to replace the brass fittings on the separator and call it done.

Becaue Moroso recommends it and that side had oil in the line. The other side (passenger's side valve cover to intake tube) was dry.
