I did the same no issues there I cut the front of the car no issues but when I cut the strut tower it got me

Hahaha. I cut the "tabs" off my strut towers as well.

Lucky in the key word man. I had that happen only very different results, cut my right ear in half cut up my neck and, endup with plastic surgery to put it all back together. And yes I was wearing ear protection (full sized ear phones) and safety glasses. Glad to see it was only minor.

Oh man I've had a few good ones over the years. Hit myself in the head w aluminum sheet metal. Had to glue that one shut. Hit myself in the tumb with an aluminum auger. Chunks of meat sticking up that were carved out of my thumb but not completely off. I've tot a collection of pictures LOL
