Almost there! I've got to pick up some antifreeze and some fuel line to replace the coolant overflow line. Then put the front end on, load the temp tune, and fire it up!

All buttoned up! Found one water leak, but besides that, it went pretty smoothly. Loaded the tune, pulled it out of the driveway to sweep my mess up. I'll limp it to HPP on Monday for the final tune. Hell yeah! I'll follow these pics in a minute with the first start.

Nope and I don't plan on getting one. It should 60' pretty decent with some torque even with the 3.15 year gears. The 4.17 first gear doesn't hurt.

Have you ever watched Manny run his car? It sounds like he doesn't even try to preload the converter, just waits for the green, punches it, and runs another drama free mid 9. I think auto is the only way to go with a KB, that's why I'll be doing the 4R70 swap over the Winter.

I'll post the graph when HPP emails it to me, but the final result was ~600/500 on a 3.75" pulley. Boost would flash to 8 then climb to around 11. Manny was cutting the runs off at 7000 and kept it pretty conservative. I think it would have made at least 25 more if he took it to 7500. Should be fun. I've got to wire up the aeroforce map sensor so I can see boost. I rigged up a mechanical gauge just for the dyno. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I have to keep reminding myself that these numbers are through an auto, not a manual like most others I see. I got to wrench on the car a little more than I planned on since we changed to a different plug after we got to 560rwhp. We went a little colder and less gap. I can't wait to get it to the track to see how it does. Honestly, it doesn't feel THAT fast to me, but I know it makes 225rwhp more now than it did when it ran 12.3's, so I'd have to think it should fly at the track. We'll see!

good numbers, isn't it cool it's still climbing at redline!

half tempted to get mine dyno'ed before the track friday just to see. I'm running a 3.5" upper and a full exhaust, BBK LT' no cats H pipe, 3" all the way back with corsa extremes.

Just curious, but is 600rwhp all you wanted to go to??? Just asking and not trying to be condescending.
