How do the aeroforce gauges hook up/ If they are reading off of the obdII, wouldn't that mean that they need to be plugged into the obd port.

I am looking into these and was just wondering.

They do look great. good call on the polarized sunglasses. I wear prescription polarized also.

No problem Ryan.

So far, I have not been able to get knocks sensors to display. I've got a couple other things I'm going to try before I say these gauges won't display knock readings. It will show misfires, but there are other settings that when you choose and display them, they do not work. So I don't know if the misfire selection is working or not.

I'm going to try the other platforms to see if I can get knock sensor readout.

Yes, the cable is plugged into the OBD port for the gauge to work. There are also two analog inputs on the gauge you can use for other things, i.e., AFR, boost, oil pres, oil temp, etc.

I inverted the colors and they are much easier to see now with my sunglasses on. So thanks a TON to whoever it was that suggested that!

Now, if only I could get knock sensors to read out, they would be perfect. I love these gauges though, even without that reading.

Glad your gauges made it too you. Still waiting on my and I order it the day after yours. At this point they could give me 50 extra hp and drive the car for me and I will still say they suck. Well atleast the customer service of the company (Aeroforce)! What kinda company does not even have a number too call them only email.

Just my two cents. Sound nice though!

Requesting a refund as no expected date of delivery promised so far meet. I believe it has no reflection on RDKPerformance and Ryan is just the middle man between a sorry company. Hope I can get this resolved quickly without fuss and problems.

Yeah, customer service is not their niche. They do answer posts on their forums about technical questions, but even that isn't very prompt. Good thing for them the gauges are good.

I bet their gauges are awesome. But who would want to buy for company you can't even reach. Would love to have there gauges and they look awesome. Just to be honest I particularly don't like getting told bs when it comes to my money and when I should receive things. I pay promptly and should be told the real expected time frame and not the run around.

Just little pissed at this point!

This is so true, all I want know is the truth on when my $400 gauges will ship and not the run around or the stall. As told they shipped and this was the tracking number( ups : 1ZVY02600393538434 ).
You tell me if that appears they have shipped yet or not. I know it is not last Friady 12th, when I was told they shipped.

UPS website today the 19th:

Label Created On:08/19/2011
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

That is not shipped!

Correct not shipped. Maybe they rolled off the loading dock and never picked up by ups. If they had a phone number a simple call could resolve this in 2sec but nope. Instead they have a hacked forum and email that must filter everything as spam.

Yep, no phone to call and emails are returned very slowly with no real answers so far for me!

I know that is not shipped! Hell I can do that on paypal right now and never ship the item or wait weeks!

The big POS about these is they don't monitor knock.....

I used on on my Caliber SRT4 and it was able to monitor knock and other various values that made it a great investment.

I wouldn't waste my money on these for the Mustang. Shift light spend is $100 vs. $250 for this POS.

Thanks for the heads up about it all, especially about what faces to pick. I wear prescription polarized sun glasses and this is something I can't be without so when I go ahead and pull the triggers on these down the road I'd opt for the right ones.

LOL! Thank YOU!

Just so you know, I've had shipments arrive at my house while the UPS site said the same thing. But more than likely, your gauges just haven't shipped yet. The gauges have suddenly become even more popular than they once were due to people like Lethal and RDK linking up with them and putting them on their websites. It is a hand made instrument.

But I do agree. Their customer service sucks. It used to be really good even though email was, and is, the only way to contact them. But since they have gotten busier, their customer service sucks.

Ryan was excellent at trying to reach them on my behalf....but there's only so much he can do. Then it falls on the company. Ryan was great, so don't let this situation prevent anyone from dealing with RDK in the future.

Thanks for the heads up about it all, especially about what faces to pick. I wear prescription polarized sun glasses and this is something I can't be without so when I go ahead and pull the triggers on these down the road I'd opt for the right ones.

No problem brother. Let us know when you do get yours and how they work out for you.
