So after 3 days of driving her around, shes already starting to feel kinda slow.

Ran a friend of mine last night, he has an 06 GT with a CAI, long tubes, o/r x, and a few other bolt ons with a custom tune and we were neck and neck and I had a passenger.

So pretty much a 5.4 with stock intake, exhaust, and tune is about on par with a bolt on tuned GT.

This weekend i'm putting my nitrous kit back on the car, and starting with a 100 shot. Then cams and eventually twin 52s or something. I wanted a billet 67 just for insta-spool but everyone at the shop talked me into twins on the 5.4

Lol. You now have a nice base to build upon :beerchug2:

AWESOME JOB !!! i think once you've got the 5.4 fine tuned and a good CAI you'll find some decent power no doubt now that stock filter gizmo is killing that 5.4
heck you've even got stock manifolds don't you...thats more power right there.
i'll have to say you were on a mission.
nice to see another 5.4 swap successfully done.
good luck and congrats!:beerdrink:

Thanks man! I'm daily driving the 5.4 now and she seems great. Everyone and a while she'll throw a lean code on banks 1 and 2, but she seems to be running great.

CAI, FRPP cams, and a 150 shot and i'll call it a day until i'm out of college.

You have a good amount of power still to go. I wouldnt hit it with the juice as that thing NA would ride out pretty good I would find traction first lol. But it's your car and you have done a great job with it. What is the code number?
