N/A 5.0 Auto Mike Rousch is DaMan!!!!!!!!!!!

OK I had my car tuned buy another well known tuner. It has had tip-in issues and idle recovery issues and bucking in gear while cruising etc. So after many disappointing trips to track with tune issues and it never running and faster than 1st pass off trailer in November of last year, constantly banging rev limiter before shifts etc. I PM'd Mike Rousch and he set on the journey of writing me a new tune. First tune ended up with a corrupted file so Mike spent 12hrs writing the file to perfection loaded it up and voila this car has stock driveability and pulls like a MOFO now!! No rev limiter banging on shifts etc. On 1st tune! My old tune had 16 revisions on 1st CAI and 8 revisions on 2nd CAI. My shifts and converter tuning are 1000% better also.
My car is stg3 cammed with CJ intake longtubes etc and it is a pretty maxed out N/A combo(only thing left would be more compression and ported heads)

If you have a max effort N/A combo especially if its auto Mike is da shizzle fo Rizzle my nizzle's

OP... Total newb to the tuning idea... I used to just buy a Diablo and call it good with other vehicles in my past... What is required for a tune from Mike? Laptop? Special tuner unit?

And what is the process (Contacting/data needed/ETC). Thanks!

He tunes with SCT so you need to contact him by PM or thru his site(midatlaticperformance)
He can supply you with the X3 tuner you need as well as a custom tune. You will possibly need to datalog it with a laptop to fine tune it or if you get the new SCT tuners I hear you can datalog with them and no laptop

Running mikes tune also. Very good tuner. Fine tuned after strip datalogs and squeezed another .12 out if mine. Whens the 10 sec slip comeing?

Mike is awesome. I also went through 2 other tuners before landing up with him. Had shifting and drivability issues with all of them until Mike. He is friendly, priced well, and does the best tunes around that don't have quirks/issues.

It was very nice to have Mike at the track and tweaking the tune after each run! Can't beat having a guy that tunes cars attend track rentals to take care of his customers!
