Heat gun, torch, and scraper. It takes time, but once you've done 60-70 cars like this it comes easy. One guy sits in the car for about an hour just scraping away.

Gotcha. Dry ice kicks ass on the Hondas I've done, but I hear it does nothing for the caulk gun crap on the S197's.

I personally have used dry ice on cars, but the small torch and a good scraper make short work of the stuff on the S197.

OK maybe a MAPP is overkill, in that case. My interior will be empty/nonexistent as well :)

Yeah MAPP is overkill. You're just heating it up enough to loosen. Then scrape it off. Just get a good heavy duty scraper.

It looks like we may be building a SCCA World Challenge car for Belle Isle with a 2 week window. Will create another topic if we do tackle that project.
