Need help: how to deep cleaning powered coated parts

I'm getting ready for one of the bigger mustang shows in the area (100+ cars). When installing my whipple I had the instake and cross over powder coated. The cross over has some water spots that won't wash out with mild soap and water, I'm hoping it's not stained. I don't think mother is the right thing to use. Any tips on how to get this cleaned, don't want to start using chemicals and destroy it. It would be a PITA to re-coat. Thanks

I tried a wax, but that didn't work. I also treid a more abrasive wax/ scratch remover with no luck. UGHHHHH

You'll need a slightly more abrasive polish.

You'll most likely need a light cutting pad and a compound (orange pad and a 6+/10 cut scale)

I'll give it a try, the more I look at it the more I'm wondering if some anti-freeze got on it and stained it. I'll post some pictures when I get home this weekend. More cleaning to do for the show in Downtown Jacksonville on the 19th.

Try this.

Mix 1/3 white, distilled vinegar with 2/3 water. Wipe it on. Don't let it dry. Keep wiping it on over and over again. As the area starts to dry, wipe it on again. Keep this up for at least 20 minutes and see if it starts to fade. If it doesn't after 20 minutes, the vinegar isn't going to do it. Use a soft touch towel like a microfiber cloth. Scrub lightly to medium hard with the cloth each time.

This is how I got rid of water spots that were on my trunk lid. Then hit it up with a good swirl removing polish and all was good. Works great on my powder-coated wheels also. On the wheels, I use a spray bottle to spray it on and then a Mother's polishing ball on my drill. Cleans the wheels and gets rid of the watermarks in a hurry.

My wife uses those magic erasers for everything, and they are pretty damn impressive. Might be worth a shot.

Chemical Guys also makes a waterspot remover that breaks the bond of mineral deposits...if there's any chance that's what it is.

This is what I used when I was stationed in hawaii. I used it for many years and it worked very well.
