Went to track yesterday. Made 4 passes, everything fine (ran Tune "A"). Before last pass (#5) I must have left intercooler on too long & battery died. Had an aquantance jump it with his truck, then went to lanes about 15 minutes later (decided to load Tune "B" for last run). Went to do normal 5 second B/O & @ 4 seconds car in other lane died, track employee motioned to stop B/O. Let off gas, released line lock, reversed car out of B/O box & stopped. After a minute they cleared car & we started up again, did a little more B/O then ran my pass. I noticed car seemed to bog around 90mph. Swapped out to street tires as usual & packed up = 1 hour. Left to go home & noticed car seemed sluggish on shifts. Swapped tunes, same issue. Trans. temp on Aeroforce seemed to be running higher than normal. Was a very cool day, lower 60's yet car seemed to be running warmer than usual. Checked all fluid levels = OK. I have a tranny dipstick, no burnt smell, level was fine. Disconnected battery & reset, reloaded tune & drove home. No improvement. Today took car out, seems to strain on shifts. Tranny temp gauge went up fairly fast even on normal driving, even on another cool day 65 degrees.
NOTE: when jumping car guy went neg. post to neg. post instead of to dead vehicle ground, car started up right away. Tune "A" & "B" I use all the time @ track/street with no issues. New 5R555 tranny in April 13', ready to change tranny fluid (suggested after 3k miles which is up)
What could have happened or be the issue?
