I had a motor built at Vendicated Tuning in Modesto and the guy screwed my royally.
My killer blown 302 turned out to be a junkyard special that ran on 7 cylinders and made just over 300 RWHP. The guy strung me along for over 2 years making promises and telling lies....finally he screwed a bunch of people and left town. Some were missing motors, blowers and some didn't even get their cars back....not to mention paying for the work up front that they never recieved. I can not stress this enough, be careful who you take your car to....you might never see it again!

Okay, enough ranting....FINALLY I have what I wanted....and here it is:

Installed at TPS in Campbell:

JDM 302E Stroker short block
Techco 3.0 liter Blower at 15 psi
Saleen Extreme Heads
Stage 2 Comp Cams
Flow matched 60 psi injectors
Electric water pump
BBK headers and Catted X pipe
BMR Billet Control arms
FRPP sway bars
Coast aluminum drive shaft
Blah blah blah.....plenty more go fast stuff....

The Bottom line is:
I finally got what I wanted, the service was GREAT and the car hauls ass....after all the bullshit I went through for sooooo long I finally got what I paid for and found a reputable shop I can trust.

This has been the best Christmas present EVER!

:xmas:

127300's I believe.
The same cams Saleen Used in the 302's and Saleen Extreme I am told.
I got the heads and cams from a buddy of mine who made 570 RWHP with them and still passed smog. That was good enough for me. :)

From JDM:

It’s an off the shelf comp cam actually, the part # is 1273000. They used them in the PJ cars too.

They only used these cams in the 302 based motors.

Here are the cam specs as per Comp

*127300 XE261H-15.5*

*Adv duration*
261 I 278 E

*Adv duration @ .050"*
222 I 235 E

*Valve lift*
.490 I .480 E

*Lobe separation*
115.5*

Thanks for the info. My friend, Mustang1200, is about to fire his motor. JDM 302, stock heads, JDM Sterling cams, Saleen blower, etc. We are anxious to hear what the cams sound like. He's out of town until Saturday so we'll get it fired up then.

JDM had some custom grind cams that I was interested in but they were a bit nasty for my automatic.
I'm either going to a TCI auto w/stall or a stick conversion.....then I can think about something nastier.
Right now it makes enough power to totally annihilate 335 BFG'S so I'm in no hurry to make any more power.

Fabman,

sorry to hear about you getting screwed I hope you and everyone else gets there $ back.

The set up is just sick man that intake is $ and the car sounds perfect. I would love to hear it at WOT. I love how clean you keep the look of the car also. more people should take note of that. My red girl is almost paid off and I'm hoping to take a loan out on her to do a motor upgrade myself. Keep the videos coming man and take care of her.

Also who did you have widen those wheels?? I asked a local wheel shop here to do the same with my stocks and they said the wheels would never be true if he did that. I'm still in shock that you got a 335 to fit under her.

How is the efficiency on the Techo vs Saleen? Similar power at similar boost?
