Does anyone know where I can get new carpets for a 2005? I want to change my carpet to black, and I don't know where I can find the carpet preformed and ready to go. Anyone have any ideas?

Why not from a mustang salvage shop?

Or if you have the time, you can find a fabric shop, and find the color and material you want, then rip out the old carpet, and overlay the new stuff on top of it and cut away. :)

Yea, but your not going to get it perfect. When they mold that carpet to fit your car, they have to cut out sections and sew/glue other parts together. In some cases they have to stretch it to get it to fit right. I have a friend who wanted suede for his carpet, that was a bitch to do, and didn't look quite right, had to pay an upholstery shop to do it, and it was hella expensive.

Unless you get a direct factory replacement, have a shop install the carpet for you. It's an absolute pain in the ass to cut one of those "pre-formed" carpets correctly because they purposely send them to you too big. I was in the same situation you are in and just ended up getting a carpet from some other guy's car.

You might be able to luck up and find one on ebay.
