My wife's SUV. I don't drive my 2012 GT that much anymore since I retired. Someone told us there were some good restaurants in Putnam. We had been exploring the area and we had lunch at Elizabeth's Farmhouse on Canal Street. Nice place and great food. :)

I've never been there, but Putnam is known for its eateries and slums. LOL.

PHS Class of 1987 here.

Just checking in again to say Hi everybody...and the longer I think about it, the more I think I like these PP2 style wheels. My GT has 255s on all fours, but I like the look of wider tires in the back, so I'm thinking about going with something like 255 or 275 in the front and 285 or 305 in the rear. Probably go with Mich PS 4S for rubber.

Love the Mustang...hate not being able to drive it in winter.

Update of sorts....

As you guys know, I'm fond of Grabber Blue on a Mustang, my favorite Mustangs are the '13 and '14 S-197s, and the best S-197s are the '13 Boss 302s.

Guess what I saw yesterday sitting in someone's yard about ten miles from my house? Yep: a '13 Grabber Blue Boss 302. I stopped in and knocked on the guy's door and turns out this car only has 8,500 miles on it and stays garaged (no wonder I've never seen it before). He said it's not for sale, but we talked a little while and I gave him my phone number just in case he changes his mind.

Grail car, right down the road from me.

Just had some brake work done: new Brembo coated rotors, new Hawk performance pads, switched to DOT 4 fluid, and had braided stainless steel lines put on.

It's still not at the level of braking an S-550 PP2 has, but it's better than the factory Brembo Brake Package. Now I'm thinking about PP2 wheels with wider tires.

S550 PP2 wheels are gonna stick out quite a bit on an S197 especially in the front.
They kinda stick out a bit even on the S550.
You're gonna want to do some research on the width and offset of those wheels before you buy.

You might want to look into the LMR SVE lookalikes, which are 19x10 and 19x11.

From what I can find the OEM PP2 front wheels are 19x10 5" with a 24mm offset. That's a recipe of them sticking out a good amount on an S197, probably close to an inch or so outside the fender.

They fit wonky even on non-PP2 S550:

This is what I meant by "PP2" wheels. Not the actual Ford ones, but the aftermarket ones that look like them. I'd like to have 275 fronts and and a little bigger in the rear, perhaps 305?

For 19x10/19x11 wheels I would do either 275/40/19 or 285/35/19 on the front, and 305/35/19 on the rear.

They're in and they're on and they look badass.

The handling, braking, and take off is better now, too.

Thank you for the recommendation.

That's awesome! What tire sizes did you go with?
