Just to update the thread...
One potential concern for my issues with oil consumption/ring seal is/was fuel; rich conditions.
I ran FRPP 80lb injectors and although my idle, cruise, and WOT were good AFR-wise, my throttle transitions (tip-in and off-throttle) where overly rich.
I replaced the FRPP 80LB with ID1000s which have exceptional low-pulse-width control. I installed them and tested them with a start up tune. Wow, what a difference. Idle is so much smoother, throttle response is absolutely clean/smooth.
I idle at 15.2 roughly, compared to 13.2-15.6 with the FRPP 80lb. And my transitional throttle is no longer pegging the AFRs at 10.0.
I am amazing with how smooth the throttle is at feather light touch and light throttle conditions. Something that was not present with the FRPP 80lb; they were choppy and rough.
I'm going to run the car with these for a little and see if I see any difference with the motor. Thought is I was washing my cylinder walls with fuel.
