So the waterless carwash in my town went out of biz last week and now I need to get of my ass and maintain my paint on my own again. Here's my new routine I did today after some research and talking to people with great paint at shows.

Today:
- I slipped the claybar cause I didn't really need it.
- optimum regular carwash
- meguier's 205 applied with a porter cable and a tangerine light cutting pad.
- Collinite 845 Insulator Wax applied and buffed off by hand.
- Chemical Guys Black on Black exterior trim spray on all exterior plastic and rubber parts including the upper and lower grilles.

Below is a pics of after doing what I mentioned above. After the Collinite cures I will apply a layer of wax (not sure which one yet, I have mothers reflections, hi temp black wax, the meguier's in the purple bottle (forgot what it's called) so it'll be one of those.

After the wax I ordered a gallon of ONR (optimum no rinse) waterless carwash and will be doing just that with an occasional wax until I need to do a full detail again.

Thoughts, suggestions,?

And btw these pics were taken on an iPhone 4s and not edited at all.

Thanks guys. Took about 3 hrs I suppose. I'm in Mahwah up in Bergen County. These pics are with just the collinite. After letting the collinite cure for 48 hrs I then applied a layer of regular wax (used mothers reflections just cause I had some in the garage). I am liking the results of this new routine so far. In a week or two i will try the ONR.

Let me know how the ONR goes, I am in an apartment now and don't really have access to a hose or anything that I would really need to give it a good hand wash my self. My grandparents live in mahwah, it's a real nice spot.

Will do. I only drive the car on the weekends and it stays covered in the garage all week so I might not need a wash for another week, 2 at most by I'll keep you updated when I try it. In the meantime, if you go I detailedimage.com there are tons of user reviews on it.
