Hey guys. So this knuckle head backed into the Bullitt the other day. Kinda mad but on to fixing it, no major damage just screwed up my bumper cover. Insurance cut me a check and paid to replace the bumper cover and paint it. So I got to thinking, newtakeoff.com is always advertising about new unused parts. They have a black bumper cover in good shape. All i have to do is change out the grill right. MY QUESTION IS...... have any of you bought parts from them, and if you have were they in good shape? or junk? Any input is appreciated. If not I will just order a new one and have it painted but 350.00 bucks for a painted original sounds like a deal... Let me know. Thank Dale

I bought my front GT bumper cover, grill and fogs from them when I had the '06 6'er and it came PERFECT!!!! If it would have been Windveil blue I could have just bolted it up on the car!

I don't know about them, but I have a buddy up my way that might be able to help you out with his price on a part and he is an awesome paint and body man. Good luck.

I used NTO as well when I had to replace the front bumper, perfect parts, no issues.

Just ordered one. The girl I called down there gave me a discount code for veterans. Dropped the price to 300.00 bucks, painted. Helluva deal. I will post a few before and after pics in this thread to show how it comes out. Got a guy lined up I think who is gonna buff the car out and hopefully brings a new shine back to her. Who knows, after this maybe I will just keep her and add a Boss as a stable mate. Kinda made me cry to see it get a boo boo lol.... anyways I will let everyone know how NTO turns out.

its pretty bad I promise, the pics just arent soing the justice. Plus I cant get them all to upload from my iphone...ughhh I am so freaking frustrated right now. I could have bought a new one and had it painted for around 450.00 but being that these are the factory paint, I assummed it would be NEW, as in NEWtakeoff! I will either get another one or my money back, thats how I feel right now...

Can't tell in the pics but will it buff out??

nah its rubbed clean through the paint to the rubber behind the primer... no way they should have even sold this to me. A couple minor scratches, yeah I would prolly be alright but not this shit...

Black is easy to paint. A paint and body shop shouldn't charge much for black, it's retarded easy to paint.

If they dont have a good one to replace this with, thats the route im going.... and its sad really, you advertise a "like new" bumper cover and then send me shit that looks like it came from a junk yard. I will tell all my friends... all 26,608 of them on this board!!!!

Sorry man! I tried to tell you my buddy could have bought the part at his cost and painted it cheaper than that, I'm sure. But maybe not, good luck!

Ok, I called them this morning and they had gotten my message. The lady I talked to (leaving her name out on purpose for privacy), was very helpful. She said she was very sorry and offered me a complete refund or a smoking deal, I inquired on this smoking deal. 100.00 bucks, meaning she refunded 250.00 back. The body shop said they could repaint it for 225.00. So, I end up getting a new painted OEM cover for less than I was expecting. My review of NTO is this, yeah they made a mistake but they took care of me, excellent customer service. If you ever want to order from them dont worry, if the part is not what you expect, they will take care of you. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
