100 should be ok. The limiting factor that you have to look at is when your fuel pump is going to at its limits. That would be around 400WHP maybe a little more. The internals on the 3v can get 500 at the tops but that's playing with fire. 450 is usually a good median to be with power.

You don't have to go NOS brand, I have wilson proflow. If i could do it all over again i would contact Neal there and get a full kit from him.

The name sounds familiar but not 100% sure. i would have to ask Dave the owner.

If you have any questions about anything nitrous related feel free to call up or message us.

Come on guys im sure the 3v V8 can handle a bit more I personally think 100-150. 150 is your limit and that is pushing it a bit so a few fuel upgrades, plugs, and GOOD TUNE is necessary. If my tiny 4.0 245 Cubic inch v6 can handle a 100 shot with stock internals, stock fuel pump, and stock injectors for the past years then you will be just fine, not recommending it but just saying :popcorneat:

I believe there is a guy on her that set a record with the fastest stock block hitting 10's with a 175, but it comes down to what are you comfortable with, if your ok with it... go 250 just plan on a new motor, me I won't go over a 100, thinking about going with a 125, but with my NANO system I fell I already have an advantage just with the 100 shot.

The pump can go only so far. pn a v8 making 300whp a 100 shot will get it to around 400-420 where the pump would be maxed out. On a 4.0 SOHC you start out making around 250whp. That would mean you could throw 150 on it before it made that magic 400-420 mark where the pump would be maxed out.

Plus the 4.0L has a pretty robust bottom end. I heard forged rods, pistons and crack but not 100% true.

Using a 125 shot putting down 460, the biggest issue I had was fuel pressure drop. And it was partially because my pump was maxed. It dropped as low as 17psi. Some food for thought.

I ran a 125 shot and my stock pump was no where near maxed out. There was no fuel pressure drop and no lean spiking either. Datalog a 100 shot and see where you are at with FPDC, rail pressure, and AFR.

wow talk about detail!!!! that looks so sick

Yea, his setup is absolutely perfect!

thanks guys

That nx spray plate..isn't it stock id? 55mm? Does it work with the 62mm throttle body? It must because its on the car..lol..but wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the 62mm?

It is made for the 55mm.....but we bored it out along with the gaskets to make it be the same size as the 62mm.......before we did it I called and talked with nitrous express to make sure everything would work the same and they said it would be fine.....so thats what we did.

Hmm... good point. OMG if I had forged rods, pistons I don't know what im waiting for to bump up to a 150 shot!!
