My turn to ask for some advice again. Some of you know, some of you don't but eventually I want to tear the car back down, ditch the blower cams, and jack the compression up. That day is no time soon as my funds just won't allow it, but I'm constantly changing things with the end goal in mind. I've never messed with nitrous, never had a need to, but I'm thinking about biting the bullet and trying something new.
My first question is will I need to upgrade my fuel system? On the Mustang Dyno I'm @ 385 to the rear, so I'm not sure how much farther I'll be able to take it without changing something. I'm thinking that I'll surely need bigger injectors, maybe 39 lbs? Will a pump upgrade be necessary? And if so, it would be majorly overkill, but how about a return style system? Any down side to that?
Second, I'm looking at buying a used wet set up, it doesn't have a window/wot switch so I was thinking about upgrading while I had the chance to something like this:
http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/product.php?productid=1&cat=58&page=1
Worth the cost?
Third, assuming I buy that I'll have to bottles to play with. Is it worth the hassle of hooking them both up or should I just install one and swap them out? The problem to me with running both is the added cost, because it means 2 bottle openers, 2 heaters, etc....
I don't want to half ass it, and have been reading quite a bit on the subject but it's time to ask some questions!
