Ya, they are fun to mess with... Next time I was thinking about putting it looking back at the rear, to see what it looks like when the tires lose traction lol... Ron, next time at the track ill bring it for both of us

we need to amass 5 of these gopro cameras. Hood, Trunk/roof, Both sides of the car (one by front wheel, one pointed at rear wheel) and one inside the car. Then edit a video of al lthe footage of a car going down the track at every angle.

Did they swap pulleys ? I don't understand why the boost is different on those 2 pulls. I'm glad they got it right, but hopefully they will put the 2.87 pulley back in and get it tuned right.

The BOV fluttering is not a reason to change pulley's or back the tune off. If it was belt slip or something I could see that being a reason. Anyway it's what makes you happy is all that matters. 550 HP is alot and I'm going to enjoy that level for a while myself. :beerdrink:

Nice video... The car sounds healthy and winds up quick... Numbers are not everything. I'm sure she feels a lot stronger.
Thanx GB, yea Im just going to take care of the bov noise then I think its better I learn how to drive this thing before I go with more power...

No, they didnt switch pulleys. That was all done with a 2.87 pulley which makes sense why it nearly peaked at 17 psi. I think he just ran it rich and retarded the timing. Thats why it made less.... And yes, I think Im going to enjoy the power it is making now and just change springs to get rid of the fluttering. I should have that spring this weekend....
29 pages later.....man what a sweet build!
Thanx man!

I tell ya what it gets real hair real quick. Not a bad idea learning the car and then stepping it up. It will take me some time getting used to not lighting the tires up. Mine is down now, check out my thread for details if you want.

Yeah no use in adding more power until you can control what you have.... You start busting into the 600-700 marks the car is an entirely different animal... You'll need at least a drag radial and that point to get "Some" traction

Man, your not kidding either. The jump from high 490's to 626 is night and day. When before you could spin them pretty easy but now its more can you not spin them haha.

lol, yeah traction becomes hard to come by once you cross that barrier.....we have a couple big HP shop car that blow the tires out from a 90+ stomp....its gets to the point where it isnt even streetable.
