I'm running a PCV valve in line between the driver's cam cover and the oil catch can, just as Vortech ran a PCV valve in the same way (except no catch can) with the supercharger system I bought. I believe they engineered their supercharger system that way for a reason (to keep as much oily blow by out of the intake stream as possible since that effectively messes with octane rating, A/F ratio, and causes carbon buildup downstream). I simply enhanced the Vortech system by adding the catch can in line with their setup to get even more oily blow by out of the equation. So far, it's working well (I installed the catch can over a year ago and this is a daily driver that's drag raced a lot in the summer).
I researched my catch can set up for a long time before doing it. I believe it is set up correctly for my car's situation. I'm new to these forums, but have been very active in other Mustang forums for more than 10 years and some of you probably know me from those other forums.
