Russ,

I have no idea what happened but I will take care of you. I'll get a new one out to you tomorrow. And I'll send you a prepaid label for the one you have, so we can take a look at it. Again, I am at a complete loss as to what happened but I'll see to it that you're a satisfied customer. Does that sound okay?

Thanks,
Tad

super indeed! I am a machinist and know you wouldn't want this one out, trust me.

I appreciate your customer care (even if it's an ebay deal!)

Please take a look look at the one you send so I know you know it's good and straight et cetera et cetera!

Thank you big time. I finally lowered the wife's car and she can't drive it until this thing is on. It was great to find an Iowa seller on ebay and now that i know you are here too... you'll have more of my business for sure.

peace,
Russ

I'll make sure it goes out tomorrow and I will personally check it. I don't ever recall this happening before. We'll figure out what went wrong and try hard to prevent it from happening again. Thank you for giving us a chance to make it right. In the end, it sounds like we screwed up and I'm very sorry. I know it isn't much, but I just issued a 10% refund for your inconvenience as well.

I have looking at pan hard bars on several sites. I am curious as to the reason for a double adjustable bar? I thought the length changed by twisting like a turnbuckle, so why two. Besides, isn't it difficult to get to the body side to adjust it? Why do they all have a jam/lock nut. It seems to me that once the bar is installed, there is really no way for it to change in length. Also why is the straight zerk fitting the standard rather than 90 degrees? While I am at it, what difference does the color make since it cannot be seen without the ride being on a lift or else you are on the laying ground under it? Just curious.

One end has left-hand threads and the other has right-hand threads. As you turn the panhard it pulls the ends in, or pushes them out, equally.

Yes, it is. Most people end up dropping the end down to tighten that jam nut. The jam nut simply solidifies and secures everything. With a little loctite (which we include for free) the jam nuts should be set and you should have worry-free driving!

Also why is the straight zerk fitting the standard rather than 90 degrees?
We plan to add these to our next production run, based on prior customer feedback. You can always easily swap the zerks out if you wish.

I don't know. Some people care, some people don't. There's one forum member here who requests all his pieces get powder coated pink. But I promised Newman I wouldn't tell anybody about it so I won't. :roflmao:

I'm taking my family on a 3-day trip to Branson, MO starting this morning so I may not be on the forum for a few days.

Tad, are you going to offer a package deal for the Panhard bar and brace, when you get the same color brace in stock?
Just curious, when I finally decide on springs.struts I will be looking again at PH bars.
Also, do you include a 90 degree grease fitting on the driver side end of the PH bar?
Thanks

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. I somehow missed it. We should have a few of the panhard braces with gold cad-plating ready shortly. I already have another forum member who is waiting for one. The zerks these come with right now are straight. We will be switching that up on future product runs though. They are easy enough to switch out if you want to run a different zerk. Thanks!

Do you have any that are geomet plated possibly (double or triple dip, 500-1000 hours salt spray)? Trying to get away from cad if possible.

You planning on driving your car on an aircraft carrier for a 6 month deployment? Seems like a little overkill to request a propietary coating, with extreme criteria for suspension parts on a car that most likely is only used in moderate weather. If I may ask, why would you be interested in getting away from Cadmium?

I work in an industry that has removed cad from its coatings and all the bolts on the car are geomet dipped now. I just prefer it. Not a proprietary coatings either as its becoming more and more prevalent. Trivalent chromate is also a decent replacement. I love cad bc it's amazing coating and has healing properties so I'm not hating at all. Just curious about other options is all.

I'm sorry but we only offer cad-plated and powder-coated versions at this time. I appreciate you checking with me though!

We have just a few cad-plated panhard braces to match the gold panhards. $100 shipped or $190 with a matching panhard.

The forum member price is $95 shipped via UPS Ground.
.
We also offer a matching panhard relocation bracket for $50, or $35 when ordered with this matching panhard!

Hi Tad,
How do receive the discount for the panhard/relocation bracket combo? When ordering through the website, no discount is shown with both items in the cart.

Thanks!

Paul.

Hello,

We only have one Cad-Plated PH left. However, I'm getting ready to post a new offer on aluminum panhards with rod ends at the same price point! Would one of you prefer aluminum? And the special pricing has be through the forum. Regular peasants can't get the deals you guys get, LOL.

To anyone who is reading this thread that is evaluating adjustable PHBs and braces, I just want to say that the Freedom Racing Stallion APHB/brace combo is money well spent. I ordered mine a good while back, and just got around to installing the two parts this past weekend, and I can say thast these are very high quailty parts with excellent fit and finish. An outstanding value!
