The problem im running into is that there is no room for the stock fan/shroud combo. A custom shroud for this fan may be my best option. Picture incoming now....

When you get done experimenting with that crap, find a stock radiator and fan and put it back the way that works. Hopefully before you blow a head gasket.

Yeah, even if you wanted just a fan, it needs to at least span from the top to bottom. seems like A LOT of area not being covered by the fan. I don't know if a dual fan setup would work, but still, I would try to get someone to make a shroud if you are having clearance issues.

Definitely not going stock again. Plastic housings cracked and started this fiasco. Im going to take it to a performance shop when I get the chance to see what they can do clearance wise. This isnt my daily driver by any means so I won't blow the motor :)

Not sure where you're located but I have a low mileage 2009 GT radiator and fan/shroud here.

Find a way to put a 2013 gt500 fan in there....your problems will go away. You can move the entire radiator forward to help give you some room.

UPDATE!

The issue is now resolved. I got a killer deal on Prochargers SPAL 16 in curve blade fan and their low profile Shroud. It was a super tight fit still but it completely resolved my cooling issues. The fan kicks on at 192 and at a stop with full a/c i have never logged a temp higher than 198 in Texas Heat too. Thank you all for your help.
