Yeah it happened while I was logging so hopefully it's tune related.
it is tune related . mine had that and my tuner changed something to make the throttle response come in like a 1/2 mila. second faster , i felt it in the pedal it was like i had to push the pedal a 1/2" further down to get a response .
all good now .

lol I'll be sure to keep turning it off.

So I'm noticing another issue. When I'm getting on it, when I shift from 2nd, to 3rd, to fourth. After each shift when I let the clutch out, the car is like.. lagging. The engine takes a second to rev back up again. The car shudders a bit and my boost gauge shows it going back to VAC then right back to boost really quickly. Any ideas what this could mean? I think it even backfired once.

EDIT: A good word for this would be like.. hesitation

Like a bad accelerator pump on a carbureted car?

Can't say I have any experience with one of those. I think its tune related, new tune has shortened it up a little. Now I'm just trying to track down a very small vac leak, going to try propane instead of starting fluid sometime. The weather just went to total shit out so looks like everythings going to have to chill for a bit. Can't do any WOT with wet roads lol

Alright so the car is insane lol. Its cold out so I get negative traction but, wow. 3rd gear 60 mph burnouts okay!

Looking forward to the spring to put on the DR's and put myself back in the seat.

When I got the Bullitt built I was regularly doing rolling burnouts from 50-80mph in third gear. Was fun while it lasted.

Okay so some potential problems here in tuning. Lito has yet to see any knock. 0. And the computers been advancing timing. So I'm getting worried my knock sensors are not working properly. My shop did fit them to a new block. Anyway to test these things? Anyway that doesnt involve stripping the entire manifold off the car?

Can i just tap on the engine block while the cars idling/datalogging?

I mean if he brought it up then I'm assuming it should be checked out, he's the expert lol

He's getting a little concerned that my comp ratio might not be what we think it is either. MMR could have screwed up with the pistons. I'm going to call them tomorrow to make sure but all I have is a picture of them as of now lol shits making me nervous

I should have had the thing blueprinted. Throw on take off heads, possible MMR messup, who knows what the CR could be ugh

Were they sitting about .008" in the hole? Just throwing this out there not saying it's happened to you but it's happened more than once in the past.

Sometimes the wrong compression height is used which puts the pistons lower in the hole and reduces the compression.

You can test them. With the car at idle put a punch or screwdriver or something up against the block by where the alternator bolts up. Hit the punch with a hammer. Don't kill it, but whack it pretty good. A bunch of times. The sensors WILL hear that. Then check the logs.

Yeah I was thinking just give it a tap. Okay great, will give that a go.
