U2011

Have you done any mods recently?

Both of these codes, according to a quick Google search points to post-mods codes.

Same setup for more than a year on the same tune as well.
I was on one of my random checks and saw these pending, but nothing is actually going wrong.
Can't find anything concrete about it :(

Yes, a bluetooth OBDII connector that talks to dash command on my phone.
Hmmm wonder if I should re-check with my regular scan tool.

Your car will self destroy in any minute now.

Don't bother if you don't have a real issue, U codes are communication issues that established by Ford as "normal" unless a real issue or another code arises, you may have had these there for ages.

I think its the bluetooth OBDII connector that is causing these codes.

Try to clear all your codes with the SCT handheld and run the car without the bluetooth connector for a week and check for codes.

Well that's the thing, I never saw these codes before recently.
Always had 0 pending codes. Even with the Bluetooth in and connecting via phone.

So I tried the SCT device and my other cheapo code reader and both show no DTC's.
I guess nothing shows pending expect for probably dealership and my phone app.
We shall see if this turns into a real CEL.. just concerned wondering if I have some electrical gremlins coming up.
I never solved that wet passenger floor during hard rain.

SCT wont read U codes (or B or C in that matter) only P ones, good job on the BT dongle if it can read more stuff than just PCM DTCs.

Yea it's called dash commands and there is a $9.99 "ford pack" Do you think the dealer will be able to tell me more... my fear is pending electrical gremlins that I can catch early on.

Must be from the margarine used to crack the rods.
I followed procedure, there is no way the margarine got near the electricals.

Well probably the most exhaustive digging I've ever done on the internet besides looking for weird porn... finally found some info worth reading...
http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=401&viewfile=Communications Network.pdf

Section 418-00-7 leads me to believe this fault leads to my ABS system via the U2011 code, which then leads to section 419-10 which leads to me being really pissed off and needing a ford scanner etc...

Pending code is an OBDII code that shows there is a possible fault detected by a sensor, but the fault does not occur often enough to be a real trouble code.

IE: The pending code has to detect a misfire about 45 times (just a number thrown in) in a certain period (dictated by either miles or minutes running) before throwing the trouble code.

So I pulled my SJB out, that bitch was a little crusty.
I took some MAF cleaner to it, cleaned up a lot of the crust.
Put everything back together, I hope it improved something I will have to drive around a bit to see if the codes come back. Also got P0622 yesterday (alternator ground field something)...

wish me luck mofos!
Oh yea and since putting the SJB back and taking a short ride everything seems fine, but my horn doesn't work now?
Is there a fuse for the horn somewhere?

Black box under the passenger side kick panel that houses the internal fuses.

I did it!
everything is working fine, I pulled the SJB again and found that pin#29 was broken.
Sure enough pin #29 controls the horn relay! so just a nub was left and the other part of the pin was in the connector.
I got a fat paper clip and pulled out the dremel to cut and fit the size of the pin.
I put a short section in the connector long enough to touch the nub that was left in the SJB, put everything back together BAM! Horn works/alarm works and no codes of any kind.

I will be checking the SJB every few months for corrosion, also I am going to work on a little lexan ramp where if water comes down that side it will be routes to the carpet instead of right on the SJB.
I want to actually wrap it all in plastic but I think it needs to breathe a little.
