Deep pan that holds an additional 4 1/2 quarts of ATF for your 5R55S transmission. Sure way to keep the transmission happy and cool for longer life. How much lower to the ground are they than stock? I have lowering springs and scraped the fuel filter cover bolts on the ground at my work entrance.

If you're scraping the fuel pump cover bolts you might not want to use this sucker.

My Mustang GT is lowered with Vogtland Springs but I have a supercharger installed on mine so would clearance be an issue for me using this deep pan? These springs lower the car approximately 1.2 inches.

It might not be necessary but I was advised to ask.

I'm still worried about clearance and the added extra weight but I guess I'm just being fricken' picky.

I just want the fricken' dipstick to check the transmission oil.

PA does make a steel pan and filler tube kit Part#PA27456 so I may get that instead.

I would want the deep pan and extra fluid to reduce the possibility of burning out the 2500.00 transmission. I can live with the 8 lbs.

The extra fluid would be nice but I have talked to different transmission techs and was told unless I go a higher stall speed I shouldn't need this. An aftermarket trans cooler could do that job which weighs less and doesn't have clearance issues.

I'm definately not trying to waste anyone's time, I just like to weigh my options and look at the pro's/con's of each mod.
