picked up a 2010 6060 and everything needed for the install. trans, crossmember, driveshaft, pro 5.0 shifter, stock shifter, reverse lockout wiring, and super king cobra clutch.

i've seen alot of issues with these transmissions and clutch, flywheel, slave cylinders. guy i'm getting it from used his stock 2010 GT flywheel w/o any issues. will i be able to use my spec aluminum flywheel with this combo. would it be better to get my spec 3+ resplined for the input shaft and use it.

another question: is there a difference between the stock GT vs stock GT500 drive shaft. maybe the length of the two, but is the GT500 shaft stronger

i absolutely agree about the mgw. only reason my 3650 doesn't have one is because they weren't for sale yet when i was ready to purchase. i'll likely get the mgw after i sell everything from the swap and the pro 5.0. if i like the pro 5.0 enough i'll probably just keep it though

From what Ive read its a diff driveshaft. Shorter...? If you look at the aftermarket driveshafts its a different part number.

Man I wish I could do that mod to Barricade!! It sure would help with his 4.10 gears. lol

i mostly got lucky. grabber197 saw a thread i started a week or so ago telling me he was removing the entire swap from his 2010. one of you might have been the new owner if he hadn't pm'ed me the offer. gave me a great deal also i think.

gt500 driveshaft is shorter, as the trans itself is longer.

as far as clutch/flywheel, jsut make sure the spacing is correct and use shims where necessary.

The 6060 trans is 13/16 longer than the 3650. If you use a 1 piece Alum DS it will be 1/2 shorter than a 3650. As far as the clutch / FW, it is simple just check you measurements. Problem is different design in the PP's, some guys had problems with Mcleod due to a manufacture defect.
