Back to the return style fuel system for a few minutes today.

Finished the 10 gauge feed lines from the FC2 Controller to the fuel pumps with male Weather Pack connectors.



And installed female Weather Pack connectors at the fuel pumps.

BMR Radiator Support and Chassis Brace Install

Removed my Steeda Radiator Support part number 555-5075 today, not because there was any issue with it as it is a high quality product, but because I wanted to update my chassis to 2011+ specifications and incorporate a Radiator Support Chassis Brace, BMR part number CB004. To facilitate the Radiator Support Chassis Brace it was necessary to replace the Steeda Radiator Support with the BMR Radiator Support, part number RS003 as it has functionality to mount the CB004 Chassis Brace.



Removed the Steeda Radiator Support by; removing the four 15mm nuts securing the sway bar to the support, lowering the sway bar out of the way and removing the four 18mm nuts securing the Radiator Support to the chassis.



Transferred the lower radiator isolators from the Steeda support over to the BMR support. Installed the Radiator Support and tightened the four nuts to 75 ft-lbs with an 18mm deep socket.



Cable tied the brake line to the Radiator Support



Reinstalled the sway bar with the 3/8” x 1.25” bolts provided and tightened them to 45 ft-lbs with a 9/16 socket and wrench.



Removed the two nuts from the steering rack with a ¾ socket and wrench. Installed the chassis brace with the eight provided 3/8” x 1.25” bolts, nuts and flat washers at the radiator support. The nuts were tightened to 45 ft-lbs with a 9/16 socket and wrench. The steering rack nuts were tightened to 84 ft-lbs



The CB004 integrated with both the RS003 Radiator Support and my existing KM010 BMR Tubular K-Member perfectly.

Jim, unfortunately I did not weight it. It was light enough to lift with my recovering hip! lol

Thanks Tim! The wife is much more interested in yard therapy than garage therapy! We have a 2 acre yard with apple trees and a huge willow tree. Well last fall with my hip the apples did not get picked up and we had an extremely bad ice storm that damaged many of the trees, luckily our damage was limited to the willow tree. Needless to say the yard therapy is getting in the way of my garage therapy! At least I have the John Deere serviced and ready to go.

BMR Radiator Support and Chassis Brace Install Complete

Prepared the splash panel for installation with the 2011+ style chassis brace by cutting two notches to clear the brackets on the radiator support and drilling two additional mounting holes.

Installed the splash panel with four screws at the bumper cover using a 5.5mm socket and three cable ties around the radiator support.

Just completed my second oil change with break-in oil on the new motor. Put 400km changed the oil and put another 420km on break-in oil to this oil change. I am pretty happy with the way the magnetic drain plug looks.



Time now for a new FL-820 filter, 8 liters of synthetic and a tune.

No Sir, no E85 in Canada eh Tim, at least locally where I am in Ontario.

With idle set at 800 in my break-in tune and with the combination of Comp Cams 127550`s and 60lbs FRPP Injectors, idle it is somewhat rough. I am hoping the ID1000`s will settle it down a little with a new tune.

I don't care what others claim... I have used almost every injector out there and the injector dynamics are by far superior... You will love them
