Sounds like it was a pretty crappy grudgefest for all of us (car wise) best I could manage was a 9.88. Had AED put in a shift light, apparently the shift light helps you hit the rev limiter more ofter WTF! The 6 hours of sleep and having a tequilla hangover didn't exactly help much either.
I didn't get any sleep either. I was falling asleep for two hours on my way home and forgot to check the gas gauge. I ran out 1/4 mile from the gas station a mile from my house.....towing the trailer....at midnight....and the station was on the other side of the freeway. :thumb:

Well, I didn't get any sleep either. Friday night (technically Sat morning) went to bed at 1am. Then got up at 430am to get ready to hit the road at 6am. Pulled up to Sac Raceway just before noon. Stayed and raced till 10pm. Left at 10:30pm. Got home at 5am. :wtf1:

right lane.

mods are just sportline springs, roush AB, and SVE drifts with 275 Nitto 555 street tires with very little life left. This was at our Mustang vs. Camaro event, Left lane was a newer camaro that sounded mean. didnt talk to the guy to ask mods.

Yet another new personal best at Pacific Raceways today - I was car #988 on the timeslips below. The weather was great! 50 degrees with cool crisp air. DA was below sea level all day (-127 to -425).

Car was really consistent again today, but the 11's eluded me yet again. Best of 12.036 @ 113.13 (leftmost timeslip), but also ran a pair of amazingly nearly identical 12.046's @ 112.84 to back up my new personal best.

2014 Mustang GT, 6R80 automatic, 3.15 gears. Mods: Circle-D 4500 rpm stall converter, Bama Tune, 1-piece driveshaft, M&H 275/50/17 drag radials. Otherwise, factory stock.

Here's a pic of my 12.03 pass. Almost got the left front tire off the ground!

Get a new tune. In that air you should be in the 11's and trap is low.

You're absolutely correct. After the upshift to 3rd gear, the converter locks up, then unlocks, then locks up again - costing me trap speed. A new tune will have to address this.

On a side note, my car was the fastest Coyote at our track yesterday - and there were several there with more mods than me.

New PB for me at last Fridays track rental. Air was around +480ft on the best pass and around -25 for the worst. Mods are CJ manifold, SCJ throttle body, 5inch CAI, Circle D converter, one piece DS, Off road H, Race star wheels, and my tune.

Nice job my friend! So you ran better in 480 air than you did in -25 air, or was that a typo?

It's always fun to have a nice simple combo that works well. I got that a lot from people on my last 2 track outings, especially from Brand X-ers who are puzzled by a newer "regular" Mustang with a couple bolt-ons and a converter running mid-11s.

Thanks Kris! That was correct, Just had to work on the tune a bit and that is were the better ET came from! Are you going to be able to make it to the track before it shuts down?

Nice! I remember having to run a 2.3 whipple at 10psi boost to run that number on my 3V.

No sir, I am done for the season. :yuck:

Did you learn some tuning tricks from your session that you could pass along?
