At my last event I had to give this car an 8 second start. Damn that's a long time to be sitting at the tree. I didn't even rev the car until he was halfway down the track. Wasn't my best run and the fucker beat my by less than 1/10th. LOL...

Certainly not - you had fun doing it right?:thumb:

You can save yourself the time of pulling your headlight out though... I doubt that's what stands between you and some 13's...

Oh, I was just having some fun at my own expense when I posted that. I LOVE hitting the track - it's a blast!

Regarding the headlight, it's a matter of trying different things to see what works and what doesn't. That mod cost me zero dollars, and I've run my personal best with the headlight out. I can't prove that it helps, but routing cooler outside air to the CAI cannot hurt (other than increased aerodynamic drag). Again, for me it's about seeing what works best to lower my ET.

LOL... it's easy to redlight like that, too. I've had to give 5 seconds in the 1/8... it really seems like a long time on a short track. haha

Finally starting to progress a bit with shaking the car down. Still have to launch soft hence the bad 60', but the Bogarts are sitting at PowerHouse now and the 325/50/15 MT ET Streets are on backorder until mid-July, so won't be able to rectify the short time until then.

Ran a 10.88 @ 130.87 tonight but the 1.73 60' is killing me for ET's.

Edit: DA was a 2085

Wow, you should throw on someone else's slicks just for the hell of it. On my ET spreadsheet, I have 101 mph good for a 6.70 in the 1/8th, which would be a 10.50. The mph, however, of 131 is good for a 10.20. I am assuming thats also on a lower boost #?

I still say when its all said and done you will be easily in the 9's---just depending on how much boost you plan on running.

I should have the tires rectified in the next few weeks. I am in the middle of a relocation to Michigan, so my track runs are sporadic for the next month or so anyhow.
I am hoping to get into the 1.5x range with the 325's which should put me into the mid 10 range. At some point too I will probably go with qa1's as the car is def. squatting a bit too much.
I am just going to run the 14lbs this year and get the car dialed in. Next spring may bump up to 17 and see where that takes me.
The mods never seem to end!

Damn Lance. Nice job, and you still are not maximizing your launch with the new stall. Plus with the new tires, you should see low 10's easy! With some drag shocks and suspension upgrades, I could see 9's with an aggressive launch and good track prep, even at your current boost level!

Nice job Lance. That car is getting done, with plenty more in it. Way to whittle down that 60ft, once you get some bigger meats, I'm sure 1.4's and 1.5's are in your future.

Ok, timeslip database update sent to the boss. Sorry for the late update Buckman, Rygen, and Mr Roper.

scramblr, can you post the more specific numbers on the timeslip (if you have them)

skeeter, that is an impressive time---do you have any back up (slip, vid) so I can add you to the list? Need more specific times for also 330,1/8th, 1000 foot marks?

A side note, Armycook1981 now has the fastest V6 as the top 2 other V6 terrors have moved on the the 5.4L

I don't think I've seen a timeslip that shows the 594' and 1254' ETs on it. That's kind of cool.

And good RTs too! :thumb:

First time out since adding more boost and the intercooler. The DA was around 4100. And I was only leaving at 3500rpm and getting a slight bog about 20 ft out. First run was a 1.89 60 footer and the second was a 1.95. I still have to install my Powerhouse D/S and loop as well as the MGW shifter. Then I'll launch at around 4500 rpm. The first run I backed out in the traps so my mph was only 111 in the second run I stayed in it and managed 115.60mph. Should be able to dip into the 11's with a bit more practice.:beerdrink:
