I think they're a lil more strict about who uses the runways here, it's not an AF base haha. I forgot to mention, saw a new Jeep Grand Cherokee srt8 run 11.7 on street tires.

LOL, this "used" to be an AF strip. :samuri:

And holy shit on the Jeep.

This is old, but finally got it scanned in. Nothing like getting a personal best and have your ass handed to you at the same time...I'm obviously # 949.

What ya talking about? You like how I was about 3mph slower than you on the 1/8 and .10 faster? What'd you do, get a 3 sec 60'?

Well, I must've missed something somewhere because you've got a roll cage in there running 13 flat. Thinking the cage is a prelude to greater things.

I've got a new shifter in the mail hoping it will fix my shifting woes. If it does, I can make the last track meet of the year on 24 Oct. It's cooling down reall nice here.

Yep, I missed that. Well, at least you're all set for greater speeds in the future. Oh, and what's your surprise, 13.04 @ 106? :onfire: You're blazing brother!!!! :poke:

That 13.05 was with a screwed up diff/tranny. The BSF tranny, new torque converter and the ???????? will probably get me into the 12s...

You're in there for sure!!! By the way, the last time I went racing was in June and that's when I had to stop since I could not shift above 5500rpms. I was getting 13.0x all day shifting under 5500rpms. So you better get way way deep in the 12s, cause when I get my shit fixed.... :onfire:

figured i'd update this thread with my best from last week.
12.09 @ 114.77 n/a stock longblock auto with just bolt-ons

this weekend i should be able to get in the 11's now that we have some cooler weather coming in.

if you guys are looking for an extra tenth just find out what belt you currently have and then get one about 12" shorter and bypass the p/s pump. i gained almost 2 tenths and 5 mph just by doing that. if ytopu have an e-w/p then make one run without the belt entirely and you will be amazed at how fast it will go. it drives okay at the track and the belt is so easy to change and absolutely the cheapest mod with the best performance gain you'll ever do.
