A new best for the car, but I think I could have gone a lot faster if I can get the launch down. At least they were very consistent runs. I'm car 6937.

Cubic inch displacement (CID) of engine: Stock 281 cid
Type of transmission (by model number): TR3650
N/A
Rear Gear ratio: 3.55
Make and type of tire: Continental ExtremeContact DWS
They are my daily driving tires. 540 Treadwear M&S rated all season.

I started using the right lane all the time tonight because I had the car roll forward several times when I was in the left lane. The track swears both lanes are level, but when I take my foot off the brake pedal in left lane, the car starts to roll forward. It caused me to red light once and deep stage several times.

New PB this morning. 11.573 @ 122.54 mph. Sixty foot of 1.712 leaves room for improvement... BTW I'm home early because it seems I blew the LSD on my 4th run - big POP came from rear end and it makes a "bump" when you turn or goose the throttle. I had to just roll down the highway in a steady gear & baby it home. Mike Dez will pull it apart later this week and upgrade as needed :thud:

Hell, the $$$ doesn't even bother me - I'm having more FUN & getting better ET's almost every time I hit the track... LOVE this shit!

DONE! Thanks Matt, I'm looking forward to receiving my MM&FF magazine featuring you & your car from the great white north... it's the October issue right? I mean "EH"?

Like I said, I just unchecked it to disable it. Good luck!

I've gotten my car in the 11.5's now. I really got to get a cage cause once I can get a good launch I'll be in the 11.4's or 3's.

Dysan... I disabled it & it works PERFECTLY :highfive:- thanks!

I ran an 11.573 launching @ 4000. Then I blew the LSD a couple runs later!

Nice runs! Looks like we're going to be going back and forth on times. You need a new LSD and I need tires. Heh...

Congrats and I'm glad to hear the 2-step worked for ya.

Thanks Dysan - yeah my foot's too twitchy when I'm staged... now I feel secure that it WILL engage the launch RPM & I can relax! I don't find any downside to disabling the "lockout RPM"... it doesn't seem to have any noticible effect on normal driving...

However I MUST remember to powershift 1-2 because, in all the excitement, my instincts kick in & I revert to habit of letting off the gas when I shift... then the car's nose drops & the suspension works against me... ah, it never ends, but that's the challenge of drag racing a manual shift.

Wow, I am updating the list and just saw your 3 new PB's in a row. Its nice to be improving every trip to the track. Are you changing anything with the car or is it just learning what the car likes (shift points, launch, etc)?

THANKS!... yeah, it's SO cool to be improving so much so fast.

I had Snow Performance meth injection installed, Dez Racing dyno tuned to suit meth, added AFCO heat exchanger to my intercooler, WOTbox 2-step, and MOSTLY getting better at driving the car... I think I'M the weakest link!

Broke into the 12 Second Club

Went to the test and tune tonight and set a new personal best time.
First pass I went a 13.079 @ 108.01 w/1.927 60' Second pass I went a 12.978 @ 106.16 w/1.866 60' Pretty pleased that I finally broke into the 12's a little unhappy about the consistency though ! Hot lapped a few more times for some 13.3xx's . In a week or so I plan to add the new 127200 Cams, and see what kind of improvements they give me, then get my new Pype's Long tubes and Torque converter in place.
