Not so simple. The crossbars and stuff still have to be welded. It'd not just unbolting the floor plates. As far as backseat. The lil ones will still be able to fit

From my understanding (and I could be totally wrong), the main hoop and cross bar are welded together. The door bars bolt in and so do the rear bars.

The seats have to come out to get the hoop in or out.

To be honest, i can't say what constitutes nhra legality. I have always had mine welded in.

Any reason why you didn't just go with the Maximum Motorsports bar? You can bolt or weld in their kit.

$657 with harness mounts, then you still have to pay someone to put it in, plus no swingouts.

i'm paying $900 installed for everything, custom fit to the car, and safer with going through the package tray

all done! a lil wetsanding in a couple spots in the morning, and then she is back together and ready for track duty tomorrow!
