Actually if your willing the wiring harness for the whole car.

well the engine harness is in good shape, but.......the harness for the rest of the car (dash a/c, doors, lights, etc) I cut in a few places.......![]()

As far as the 3 link, you may be right--but I didn't spend any money or time on it as it was existing. Time will tell if a 4 link will be needed or if I can use a larger tire, etc. There are some very quick cars out there using stock style suspensions. Also remember, depending on the engine dyno and torque numbers, I may be using a PG, which has a 1.80 first gear (vs a 2.48 or 2.74 first of other 3 spd transmissions).

I don't think so. I know how he can make it work. Then again....I've been called a self-righteous know-it-all before.I think if you leave hard enough to run your number, you are going to blow off from the line and not hook and you are going to have to leave very soft and slowly work in the power which is also not going to get you your number.

Because of the windshield wiper washer thingys that are on the hood. Any further forward and the holes those things left would start showing--as the scoop starts to narrow the closer is gets to the windshield. The hole itself in the hood is in the correct location for the carb, and you can not see the opening from the side.
