Having problems with the intercooler. The pump won't sit flush on it and impedes with with fans. This normal?
I was going to do that, but just couldn't tell if others did that in the install. The directions are very vague and I am almost confused with the extra coolant hoses they sent me.
Yeah, I just ordered all the different harnesses and I'll play the guessing game on Friday. I noticed there was a problem when I had two different regulator connectors for the alternator and for the oil filter, and then the washer wouldn't fit into the alternator.
edit: another thing that is annoying me is I can't locate the IC pump connector. I didn't believe it was on the battery harness but I'm either going crazy or just cant find it.
So wire it up via manual switch? I may just swap out that harness. My other one is hacked to shit from my past experiments. Lol.
Sam, if you could also do me a favor - Can you take a picture of your fuse box and either post it here or PM it to me? I could always look it up, but your picture would be easier lol. Thanks
Some may argue that it doesn't do anything, but IMO, it is one of the best functional things I've done. They make the front of the car look meaner too.
Tried to go back and mess with the intercooler and the intercooler pump. I manged to take the bracket off of it and change it around and now it sits flush, but I cannot get the line that goes from the HE resevoir -> HE pump to get together. I have no idea what is going on, I've routed it the shortest way possible, but can't for the life of me figure it out.
IIRC, when I installed my C&R HE I used one of the supplied longer hoses for that side. Did your kit come with some spare hoses?
Show me a picture, maybe we can help you figure it out.It all hooked up well, but I can't figure out where one line goes. It had a blue wrap on it.
