Haha it got your voicemail. Waiting to here about my offer on this Whipple 2.9 and I'll figure it out. I don't want to spend money on this current blower to toon it.

At the moment I'm thinking:
Whipple 2.9L
3.25" pulley
72lbs injectors
Some brand of plugs - suggestions
VMP BAP
I really want LTs now and the SCJ Intake but not sure I can stretch it at the moment.

Sam I'll get a pic when I get a chance.

For plugs, definitely NGK TR6's or Motorcraft SP-471's. Can't go wrong with either. I'm running the Motorcrafts currently, and I ran the NGK's all last year without a problem.

I've heard good things about the TR6's since many kits are sold with them.

Just got back from a dinner break with a co-worker. We romped on it and had some fun with a Caddy CTS-V... for a tune that needs some work, the car is holding pretty damn well.

Just talked to the guy over on SVTP - Just waiting for him to pull the blower off his car and I'll be buying it.

Thanks Chris! I wish I would make MW this year but it ain't gonna work out like I hoped.

Today I was thinking about doing the following since the more I weigh my options I don't want to pour more money into this. I think I'm gonna do LT's with off road H and get it tuned as is. I'll just need to bite my lip until next summer.

LOL.

I was honestly going to do just that but then I realized that I'm F*cking nuts to want to install LT's on this thing. I'll do them next time I have the engine out.

I'm planning do to the TVS/55lbs Injectors/OR H/BAP Probably going to swap to Borla touring mufflers.

$1902 for a TVS/Elbow/TB GT500 Intake and Intercooler. I had $200 in eBay gift cards so $1702 and then I'll be selling the TB, CAI, and stock Intercooler seperately. Also I'll sell the stock Eaton to recoup some of my monies.

loving what you have done so far... Nice..

Thanks!

Thanks!

After all that you've done to this car I'm kind of surprised that you're stalling on headers. LOL. It's easy..

I loved my Borla touring mufflers! Hopefully you get them and are as happy as I was with them.

I don't see the point of LT's on a 5.4 ... a buddy has a 2.8 KB '08 Shelby putting down about 640-650 rwhp. KB told him he'd only get about 10 rwhp if he did LT's ... I certainly would never spend $1000++ for 10-15 rwhp

Correct me if I'm wrong on this (which is a strong possibility) but if I remember correctly LT's decreases cylinder pressure by 1-2 psi while maintaining or even increasing power output, which would obviously be a good thing. Why would you not want to lower cylinder pressure?

LOL. Yeah, I think I've reached the point of really calculating the time I have free and what I want to apply it to with this car.

I've heard very few cars with borla touring and o/r pipe but everytime I do it sounds nice and I wanted to the H for the deepness.

LT's will always help with a higher horsepower application. I just didn't think it was worth the hassle this time around when I'll be sitting around 650whp and no cats, however I do plan on pulling the motor later. I'm going to use bedliner to coat the entire engine bay. I've wanted to do that for a while and I recently saw how it looked in person and it was awesome. At the same time I figured I'll put cams in along with LT's.

As for the cost... I put LT's on my N/A 3V and it was definitely worth the money and power. 353rwhp pulled like a freight train to me. Lol

I've found KB to make a lot of statements, some of which not always as brilliant as the others. I would take whatever they say with a grain of salt.
