There is a small pic of it in the Jan. 2011 5.0(in the Mustang Week article). They said they are gonna have a full feature on it soon.

Well, tires spun on the rollers so no numbers yet, but it won't be too long.

I was never into the pro street thing..... Full tubbed cars running high 12's for years with power adders... no thanks. Cool to look at and only good for car shows IMO

+1.

I agree 100%.

Neat to look at. Not especially impressive.

At one point in time to go fast you needed to hook. Bigger tires were the answer to needing more traction. Tires and suspension design have come along far enough to make super big tires passe. Little tired cars that run big numbers are ever more common and far more impressive.

But big tires are great for show cars....for what ever purpose it is that they serve.

Thats like saying "with modern technology and how far engine building has com, there is no need for big displacement motors. That is wrong. Granted a 12 second car does not need 15 inch wide tires, but think about what happens when you combine modern technology in rubber wih ridiculous pro street size. You end up with things like the quaf turbo w12. Sounds alright to me

alex - I dont think he meant to take it that far. i mean I agree that these pro street show cars have nice shock value, but they arent as amazing as they used to be. Yea theyre still pretty shocking to look at, but its like, I could beat em with a blower, stock block and 28x10's. I think that was more what he was saying. They were much more amazing when they were faster than most things AND looked ridiculously awesome.

I'm fairly sure that this car will never see a pass on a drag strip, so any speculation as to what it will or will not do is kind of a moot point. For racing the shop has a winning X275 DR car.

Again, it's all about intents and purposes. For better or worse, the car garnered a metric sh#t tonne of attention at Mustang Week -- and pretty much everywhere else it has been. It's a bloody Hot Wheels car, and I think it turned out just like the owner wanted.

This is pretty much what I meant. Cool to look at serve no real purpose besides looking kinda cool.

Pro-Street cars strike me as kind of a waste of time and money, personally. I could do a lot more stuff with that money that actually made the car faster.

i (and obviously tons of ppl) think this thing is cool as hell. it definitley opens a bigger discussion like - well it could be faster if u took out the interior...on and on. but thats not the point. the point is for it to be a sick prostreet show car. and it definitley is.

i like it as well... not everyone out there is trying to be the fastest... some of us just do it cuz we enjoy it and it is what we want to build for ourselves..no one else..
