Pypes Bomb Axleback on Custom H-Pipe

Yes My car is a V6 but i need responses and based on the number of post in the V6 thread, i dont think i will get them so please do not delete.

Anyways......

Right now my setup is a custom 2.25 H-Pipe with Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers. I like the sound at every point (idle, rev, inside) but i dont like it when i let someone i drive it and i hear how it sounds as they get on it.

So.........I was thinking about getting the Pypes Bomb Axleback and doing it on my setup. Has anyone heard it on an h-pipe? Its a 2.5 inch pipe so it should just clamp over right? Since my full exhaust is welded from headers back whats the best way to cut it?

I was also thinking about the SLP Loudmouth exhaust. But just dont like the price. Which would you go with?

I have a set of Pype Bombs in my garage that were on my car for just 4 days. Way too loud on my superchaged '07 GT. Raspy as all hell with an X-pipe. H-pipe would probably sound much smoother, though. The Pype Bombs look great, fit great, and were a heckuva deal. I, too, considered the SLP Loudmouths, but too many $'s. Not sure if I'll ever put the Pype Bombs back on my car, though, unless I weld in some resonators/mufflers under the car to tone them down a bit.

People running pypes is it really loud? ANY loss in back pressure and power at all? Im thinking of them but dont want to loose any throttle/power

I had my pype bombs on for 4 days, including one day at the drag strip. no loss in trap speed, so I'd say the power was unaffected. just very loud! too loud, so I took them off.

They're not all that loud. Jeff (iceguyb14) has them and i hang with him almost every day and his car is not that louder than mine. He has cut n clamp pypes x-pipe and pype bombs. I love how it sounds.

Is Jeff's car N/A? My car is supercharged. 50% more airflow = 50% more volume out the pipes.

Ive been eyeballing Pype bombs every since they came out. I have Bassani now and it just isnt loud enough for me. I'm waiting till after I get cams to decide whether or not I will get them.

My car sounds so good with Pypes Bombs, I decide not to put in BBR stage 3 cams.
There was also a decent weight reduction when I replaced my Magnaflow mufflers.

not tryin to be an a** but if you read the post i explain why i posted here. there are about 6 post in the V6 forum. not gonna get back much response off that. I put the fogs and bumper on to my liking. i can put what i'd like on my car.

ok well honesty you came off like an d***. i wasnt trying to get attention. I dont just like to throw stuff on my car without doing some research about it and making sure its something i want. Thats why i posted.
