I was looking at some additional gauges and was wondering what a pyrometer gauge is? Tried a search and couldn't find anything and never heard of it before...I've already got a wideband A/F, oil pressure, boost/vacuum FYI

Pyrometer=Exhaust Temperature Gauge. They are widely used in the diesel world. In the Mustang world not so much. Not to say that monitoring EGT's is a bad idea for a gas motor it just isn't done much for the average street car or even avid racer. If you are looking for more gauges I would suggest water temp and or fuel pressure.

It is a exhaust gas temp gauge or EGT gauge, which will help you tell if the car is running lean or rich also. I run them on my snowmobiles and quads for tuning them.
