question about hoods and water...

my car desperately needs a new hood lol... ive had it with the stocker. but, everything that seems to attract my attention has vents in it one way or another. so for the question, whats the water intrusion like on some of these hoods and is it enough to be potentially harmful? i ask because 1. this is currently my DD and 2. i live in south florida where it pours at any random time. the two top hoods im interested in at the moment are the cervinis concept hood and the seibon ts...

ive asked a couple people who have similar hoods, but the ones ive talked to dont use their s197 as a daily driver so it hardly sees any rain lol lucky...
