Do Pypes LT's need 1 or 2 O2 extentions?

I searched and found a post to answer my original question, of whether they needed extentions at all or not. But the post ended before anyone clarified whether or not they come with extentions and how many are needed for a manual. One guy says 2 are needed. Another guy claims he installed them and only needed 1 and the kit comes with that extention.

So what's the official call? Do they need 1 or 2 extentions, and do they come with that 1 or 2 extentions?

They do not come with any extensions (at least mine didn't). You need one for the passenger side. I just made my own, it's just wires that need to be lengthened.

Good luck, mine went in pretty easy.

Good stuff.

So wicked says just 1 for passenger side. Hopefully that will remain the consistant answer... but ya know, I never considered extending the wires myself. Thought never occured to me.

The only other thing that I'm remaining iffy on is the X-pipe. Should I bother custom fabbing my current O/R X (which is a Pypes O/R X) into a shorty for the LT's, or just buy the headers w/ the X that goes with it. I'm pretty good with pipe, it is my craft after all. I'm just wondering if it'd end up being a huge headache trying to match up flanges, or if it's a standard flange. I can always recoupe some of the extra cost by selling the X-pipe that's on my car, but I'd likely only get about $80-100 on the high side, right?

Opinions?

Pypes come with one extension. If you have an auto you will need two. Just buy the pypes h pipe. Save yourself the hassle. H has a nice deep tone. Got mine from brenspeed too.

Same setup here...Pypes LT with Pypes o/r hpipe (Magnaflow axleback) - the non magnapack. Nice deep tone and zero drone.

I'll hafta get the X pipe if I'm going to get a mid pipe. Just my preference. H's sound great, but I've had better performance results from X's.

I guess the next question would be who sells Pypes LT's w/ O/R X for the best price? $660 is the best deal I've been able to find so far. I could always sit on it and wait for someone on here to sell theirs... but then again it'd be nice to have shiney new ones of my own. Hmm. What do the vendors offer for the Pypes LT kit? Group buys?
