On occasion, under heavy breaking situations I am experiencing a slight tug of the wheel towards the driver side front. Doesn't happen every time but it has occurred enough times for me to become curious as to its root cause.

After stewing on this for a while and taking into consideration that my car is corner balanced I then remembered that the drivers side front on my car is the lowest point in terms of ride height (about 1/4") lower then the passenger side front.

Has anyone else seen where corner balancing a car could cause uneven breaking? On paper I guess it makes sense for this behavior to be a side effect of corner balancing but I'm not sure.

Does anyone make a contraption that allows for adjustment of breaking force between the front driver and passenger side brakes? I've seen the proportioning valves to adjust Front to Rear braking force but not something that does Left to Right breaking force at one end only.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Do not experience any side-side pull in my car. You should probably take a look at your brakes.

Do you still have your gooey hydro bushings? When I'm on the ABS with the Hoosiers while autocrossing, the car almost steers iteself under braking.

RIP - You will be missed
Seems like individual front wheel ABS activity and/or differences in front pad or rotor condition from side to side would cause exactly what you're noticing. Bushing condition can only exaggerate any differences.

Thanks for the info guys.

The car alignment was last done about 10K miles ago. FWIW, If I let go of the steering wheel while driving on a nice straight road the car tracks perfectly straight and I do not notice any signs of unusual tread wear.

I am still using the Hydro Bush up front. I wanted to swap them out for the urethane ones while everything was apart doing the suspension install but fear got the best of me because at the time there was still quite a bit of chatter about the dreaded steering wheel shudder thing.

I'll take a look at the Brakes/Pads and see what I can see...Thanks

I would also check the caliper of the corner you're diving towards. If that caliper is dragging and puts more force on that corner than pedal you're giving it that could give you sensation you're feeling. Make sure the pistons are moving freely.
