Question on pulling the Auto??

The cooler lines run under the bellhousing area to the driver's side. Can the tranny clear the lines if you just unbolt them from the driver's side or do you need to also disconnect the lines near the front to get them out of the way? If you have to disconnect at the front, then what type of tool do you need to disconnect the lines. Is it like the spring lock connectors similar on the fuel lines?
Planning on a convertor install this weekend and need to know if anything special is needed when pulling this tranny.
