Rear O2 Question

Some of you here, have some ridiculous knowledge, not just about the Mustang but, engineering and all that stuff.

I made my own MIL Eliminator. And I think, I'm on the right path. I used http://www.mikefordmustang.com/writeups/mil-eliminators/how-to-make-mil-eliminators.php
that link. I made it just like he did. Once the computer went through it's thing I got two codes. I wasn't surprised. It said the rear O2s are stuck on LEAN.
Will you guys help me understand what is happening now? What I want to know is, how can I fix this? Maybe going to a 1/2Watt Resistor?

Please take some time and help me out with this guys.

On that link I posted up, they worked for some dude's 09 F150. It's just a matter of getting the right resistor. I just want to know more about the parameters of the O2 sensors back there.

1/2 watt is only the amount of power the resistor can take.
What you could get is a potentiometer, or rheostat, both are adjustable resistors.
Basically the same thing google is your friend.

Find the setting that works for you and replace with an actual resistor.

So. Today I tried the 1/2 watt as well. It still gave me the too lean code. Any takers?

Do I have to have the O2 screwed in the exhaust pipe? That shouldn't matter should it?

I've built the circuit (w/o circuit board, as it's not needed), and have successfully used it on multiple vehicles. Resister wattage has nothing to do with it.

In addition, you have to handle the rear o2 heater circuits; you cant just take out the sensors and expect the aforementioned circuit to solve all the issues.

When working with something like this, clear any codes when you make or install something, and check any codes again; they may be different, indicating a different issue. I speak from experience ;)
