Rotational noise? Drive shaft?

High pitch to me means gears or bearings inside the differential... I don't think the drive shaft will make that noise, but you never know... Please keep us informed on what you find.

It just doesn’t sound anything like any of the videos I have seen on what a bad differential sounds like.

Could also be a tranny… anything with a strait or helical cut gear will make a whine.

I hope new DS solves the issue.
