I recommended trying to get the offsets measured somewhere, figuring out what vehicles they will fit, then sell the wheels for those vehicles

If the wheel hubs are so thin that the lug nuts are bottoming out before getting tight then I would be concerned with the safety of using them. Are they steel or aluminum? If they are aluminum then they are most likely scrap and unsafe for use. First good hard corner and it could snap, fucking up your car in the process.

The wheelface is too thick. That's why he can't get enough thread protrusion. At least that's how I read it.

No it's the opposite, it's so thin that the lug nuts stick out too far and even with the lug nuts tightened all the way down the wheel still moves

The ones he tried were too large for the holes in the rim i believe.

It could potentially work but the lug holes in the wheels are very narrow and require the spline drive type lug nuts. I don't know of any open ended spline drive lug nuts (not saying they don't exist) and the wheel hub is so thin it raises questions about structural integrity anyways.

I'm pretty sure he's sending them back to rotiform anyways.
