So I've recently heard about these rotrex superchargers. Anyone here know about them? I'm hearing they come on quick. Harder than a normal centri but not as hard as a twin screw but feels hard like it. Any boost curves compared to the other known centri blowers out there?

Only ever heard of a few guys running it, a company called forced air performance made a kit for the 3v with them. They have smaller compressors that operate at a higher rpm. The planetary gear drive units run at about double the rpm as a traditional centri (ie. closer to turbo rpm), that mixed with the smaller lower inertia compressor wheel is why you get more low to mid range with it. It doesn't have the topend potential of a traditional centri setup but is still a cool kit for a mild setup. Don't think there were very many kits made and not sure if they are still around but here is the website.

I think the Honda S2000 was a popular platform for the Rotrex blower. A lot of import guys ran them back in the day; the lower-end power helped out a lot with smaller displacement four-cylinders and complimented those engines' inherent lack of low-end grunt.

I haven't really heard much about them in a decade.

Good system, but with DOB around tough to get into for street use.
