Just ordered my roush front fascia with fogs. Anybody done or know of any mods for the stock roush fogs?
Like HID kit, halo light, tint, etc
Thanks.

What kind a bulb is the roush foglight? is it the same as the gt500?
Can i use the 9007/H10 6000 hid kit?

Not sure if the roush bulb is the same as GT500, but I was told the GT500 fog light bulb is propietary to Ford/Shelby. Was also told the there is a bulb that can be used but it needs to be siliconed in place. Think I may just wait.

I have one as well and the Roush fogs are the exact same (Ford) part number as the 03/04 Cobras. If you break a fog light lense (I have broken 1 already) you will ask the local Ford dealer for an 03/04 Valeo foglight for replacement. Anything that works on the Cobra fogs will work with the Roush kit. The bulbs are also the same bulbs as the 05+ fogs, H10. So if you already have an HID kit in your factory fogs you can transfer it or buy a new one.

I believe that the fog light is also interchangable with some explorers (round lights) and possibly the GT500, though I have not confirmed that. The do accept the same H10 bulb.

Seems like they are having problems with other than stock halogne bulbs with the hid kits running too hot.

I figured roush sourced from somewhere conveinent, so they are h10 same as the stock fogs, thats good to know, so im thinking a 6000 9007/H10 hid kit for the roush fogs and i should be good to go.

Yeah, you got it.

These things are fragile (glass) keep your distance behind cars. At $100 a pop, they are not cheap either.

Got the 35w 6000k kit. Installed them but they were not working so i put the stock bulbs back in for now. My projector headlights angle eye halo and leds run off the foglight power so im thinking the hids dont like the missing amps. Ran outa time and will work on them tommorow.
