Guys,

I don’t know if it’s me, but it feels like my car is either getting slower, or I’m getting used to the power. I'm really hoping it’s the latter. I still need to do a compression test (if I can find the correct adapter) in order to verify it's not a mechnical issue.

Below is a very short clip of a quick pull I made today. You'll notice when I go WOT the A/FR dips in the low 10's and slowly comes up in the lower 11's. It feels like it bogs and very slowly comes up to speed. Is this normal?

Lito is currently putting together a tune for me so hopefully I should be smiling soon!

Basic Mods are as follow:

Tuning:
SCT X3 Tuner
Innovate LC-1 Wideband Kit

Engine:
Stock 4.6 3V
Comp Cams Stage II XFI NSR camshafts, 127200
UPR Billet Oil Separator/Catch Can
Thump Racing Billet Tensioner arm
NGK Iridium spark plugs, M-12405-3V-12MM

Induction:
Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger
Edelbrock 3.250 blower pulley
Edelbrock E-Force Competition Cold Air kit

Exhaust:
Kooks Long Tube Headers, 1 3/4" x 3" (ceramic coated)
Kooks X-Pipe, 3" x 2 ½"
MagnaFlow 3" Axle-Back

Fuel:
Siemans Deka 60lb Injectors
Ford Racing 2010 Mustang GT Dual Fuel Pump Kit

Electronics:
N2MB WOT Box
AeroForce Interceptor Gauge
Innovate XD-16 AFR Gauge

Tranny/Drivetrain:
Stock 5-speed
Stock clutch
MGW Short Throw Shifter
Powerhouse 4" Aluminum Driveshaft
3.73 gears

My apologies in advance for the crappy cell phone vid.

Thanks,
Mitch

That's pretty much the same thing my car does. I don't notice any issues from it though and it's probably just from the instant load the PCM sees.

You should love Lito's tune...I just tried out a new one from him today with static timing at WOT for bracket racing but wasn't able to go rounds at the track because my water pump decided to take a crap and started leaking. I did have the bye run first round though with a .004 light :).

I'm really looking forward to Lito's tune. The current tune is okay...it's conservative and safe. I'm not looking to grenade the motor just yet, but man I want to feel the surge of power. A buddy of mine drove my car and he said it felt as though it was more like a 350hp car rather than 500hp (dyno'd 499.7 rwhp). His comment was, "it seems like the power isn't there for what it has". My stock clutch is going south so that may be also adding to the "loss in power" dilemma.

I think I'm at the point of no return here..wanting more power! I can see it already. Pretty soon I'll want to swap out the stock block for a forged unit, upgrade the heads, get bigger cams, change out the tranny to something more stout, upgrade the rear, swap out the fuel system for an E85 conversion, etc... :)
