You have a PC on your Coyote car? What sort of boost? Air to air? What IAT's were you seeing? What water and oil temps?

Yes, 10 psi at 7000rpms, Stg II sheetmetal A2A, haven't logged any temps. Ever since I installed the 170° thermostat, the temp never ever rises. But at Sebring (again, 97° ambient) the temp would rise after several minutes out on the racetrack. I didn't like it. I'm sure a BOSS radiator and TR hood would solve that, but I don't think I'll buy those before the 2015 arrives. I really want to push the 2015 on the track. That's my focus right now. N/A or not.

That 15' is gonna rock at the track. Especially at that motocross track you guys call Sebring.

While the 6 might offer some primary balance smoothness, the liters are too many to start with... its all about how many atmospheres you can put in there, and you can put in as many as you want!

In fact the ej/fa flat 4 is probably one of the best optimized engines you can get in a car (if not the 'benz 8s and 12s), its just so optimized that if you touch it with mods, it will break.

Turbo engines only have lag because manufacturers want the turbos to last more than 10,000 miles.

I know having a heavier, long-stroke, big displacement ford four will be capable of near triple the oem power and be so excellent with anti-lag ;) Just need to replace turbo's hot side once a year haha

All Ford needs to do is make the new car a better performer than the car it replaced. All in all, if it clocks a better 0-60, better 1/4 and beats it's previous Laguna Seca lap when it was up against the M3 then it's doing good. Ford also plays hard ball when it comes to Motorsports. Look, Ford builds and sells dedicated race cars with the rule book in mind. You know why you aren't gonna see the z28 in any meaningful well-known races? Because Chevy is to chickenshit to put its legendary Z28 up against the Boss. So they knowingly built it where it can't compete in big races. Ford doesn't fuck around. I'm sure they will deliver a mustang that will outperform its predecessor.

Awesome, from someone who wanted a Shelby GT350 in high school over 30 years ago!

Edit to add: I didn't realize I was replying to such an old post. The forum seemed to take me to an older "recent" post, weird.

I don't know how big that pic is on everybody else's screen, but it is like IMAX on mine. I just crapped myself....literally. And I didn't crap myself because it's scary. I crapped myself because I just realized the alien has bling on his grille. This what happens when TuPac gets attacked by a Face Sucker?
