Sent you a PM onequick. I have the PDF file from Brenspeed you need. It is an instruction set from SCT for updating the X3 device BEFORE loading the tune. I will be doing mine this weekend probably.

What they mean by returning the tune to stock is going out to your car and loading your vehicles stock tune back into your car. This won't keep you from loading custom tunes back into your car, nor will it delete any tunes off of your XCAL.

However, sometimes the firmware updates CAN delete all tunes from your programmer so make sure you have your tunes saved on your computer because you may have to load them all back in once you're done updating your firmware.

Correct and you can't back up the stock tune to a computer, only the PCM.

Sorry Adam, I just saw it this morning and I'm at work until about 4pm. But I'll send it out as soon as I get home. This file is something you can load onto your XCAL to 'reset' it, so just make sure you have all your aftermarket tunes saved on your computer and your vehicle returned back to stock using your XCAL before you load it in.

Yeah, after 45 minutes on hold, they came on the line. They couldn't get Liveload installed either, so they transferred some .exe file that forced the drivers to install. Keeping that .exe for sure. Liveload and LiveLink now open up. SCT has good tech support from what I've experienced.

Now if I could get the wideband formula for my AM Cobalt I'll be a happy camper.

Yah, except the software only works on PC's.

Can't even open the program in Wine.

What a headache. Who uses a PC anymore? Hasn't Mac taken over the world yet?

Given I use Linux but close enough... We're both SOL

The classic answer from someone who works on computers instead of working with computers.
